 Please read below before you apply for the tour.

How to make a reservation

 I. Internet
Customers can make a reservation from the first of each month, which is two months before the boarding day until three days before the boarding day.
II. Telephone
Customers can make a reservation from 9:00 on the first of each month, which is two months before the boarding day, until 17:00 on the day before the boarding day.
(If the first day of a month is the holiday, we accept your reservation on the next business day.)
(Example 1) Tickets for July 1st. → You can make a reservation from May 1st.
(Example 2) Tickets for September 23rd. → You can make a reservation from July 1st.
 You can reserve up to 14 seats at a time. (If the size of your group is equal to or more than 15, you can make a reservation only by phone. Please check “About reservation for group participants” below.)
 The maximum number of seats for each ride is 36. (All seats reserved.)

 The tour will be operated from April 29th, 2022 to October 31st.

The procedure of reservation

Please make a reservation as described below.

If there are 50 or more vacant seats for the day in total, “〇” is displayed. If the number of vacant seats is less than 50, “△” is displayed. If the number of vacant seats is equal to or less than 5, the number of available seats is displayed. After all the seats are sold out, “Full” is displayed.

For the dates on which a reservation is no longer accepted, “×” is displayed. For the holidays, “-” is displayed.

If there are 11 or more vacant seats, “〇” is displayed. If the number of vacant seats is less than 11, “△” is displayed. If the number of vacant seats is equal to or less than 5, the number of available seats is displayed. After all the seats are sold out, “Full” is displayed.

※Reservation on the internet is requested by 3 days before boarding. You still can check the number of remaining seats even after the day.

Enter applicant’s information and click the “for review” button at the bottom of the screen.

After clicking the “Check seat availability” button at the upper right corner of the screen, the seat chart will be displayed and you can check the vacant seat.

Review the contents you entered. Click the “Apply with this information” button if there are no errors.Your reservation is completed at this point. Please select your seat position.

If you find errors and would like to modify it, click the “Return to the previous input screen” button and re-enter the information.

After the reservation is completed, a confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to your e-mail address.

Your reservation is completed. “Receipt number” displayed on the screen will be needed when you need to cancel your tour later. Even though the number is also written in the auto-reply e-mail, please don’t forget it. Click the “Select your seat(s)” button to continue to choose your seat position.

※Since you cannot change or cancel your reservation on the internet after it is completed, please contact Tsugaru Shirakami Tour Desk if you need to change or cancel it. 0172-85-3315

Seats without a check mark are vacant. Select the seats you need (don’t select them for infants) and click the “Select your seat(s)” button at the bottom of the screen.

Caution

 Please check in 15 minutesbefore the departure at Shirakami Tsugaru Tour Desk (in the information center of the roadside station Tsugaru Shirakami). If you are late for the departure, we assume that you cancel your tour on the same day. (Cancellation fee: 100%)
 The amphibious bus is open-air with no window panes. Please wear warm clothes. In addition, the tour will be operated even if it rains. In that case, please bring your raincoat etc. because raindrops will come into the bus. (An umbrella is not allowed to use in the bus.) Since the bus is not equipped with air conditioners, please adjust your clothes in case you feel hot or cold on your boarding day.
<For your information>
Wear warm clothes or put a coat on to keep you warm. The amphibious bus runs on land at a speed of 40 to 50 km/h. Generally, when proceeding at 50 km/h, you receive strong wind with a speed of about 14 m/s.
It is said that the feeling temperature drop 1 degree on every 1 meter wind speed increase. You feel the temperature 14 degrees (Celsius) lower than the temperature with no wind.
 You might get wet if you sit on the front-row seats.
 There is no restroom in the bus.
 No drinking, eating or smoking are allowed in the bus. Only bottled drinks with lids are allowed in the bus. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed under any circumstance for the safety and comfort of all passengers.
 There are no dust bins in the bus.
 As there is no space for the luggage in the bus, please secure your belongings by yourself.
 Children (elementary school students and under) need to wear a life jacket. (You can borrow it for free.)
 There are 5 steps of stairs when getting on and off the bus. (Stair height: 5 steps x 30 cm.)
 The bus cannot accommodate your pets. You can bring your service dogs such as guide dogs, but please let us know in advance.
 In consideration of safety, the operation may be suspended and/or cancelled without advance notice due to strong wind, thick fog, typhoon, rising or falling lake water surface level, drift wood and so on.
※If the operation is cancelled, no cancellation fee will be charged. (In case you have completed your payment, we will refund the full amount of money.)
 After tour cancellation, you may switch to a following ride only if there are vacant seats.
About refund when the operation is cancelled
We will refund your fare if the operation is cancelled or we return during the tour (before re-landing).
If it is impossible to operate the bus due to machine failure etc. after visiting Dam Lake and re-landing, we will send you to the departure/arrival place by other transportation modes. In that case, there will be no refund.
